Calculation of purchase costs
CWA LEGAL provides you with a personalised breakdown of costs prior to the transaction, for both purchases and sales, helping you to manage your funds effectively. Purchase costs, including taxes and notary fees, are approximately 12% of the purchase price of the property transaction.
Reservation and deposit agreement
Once you have paid the reservation deposit, we will keep you updated on every step of the transaction process. The duration of this stage may depend on the current condition of the property. Normally, there is a period of around two weeks between signing the reservation contract and the deposit, as we carry out due diligence on the property.
Public deed
The sale or purchase is concluded upon signing the deeds before a Notary, making the full payment, and the formal transfer of ownership takes place. We handle details such as opening the bank account, transferring utility services, Property Registry, and payment of fees and taxes on your behalf.
